Winter Wonderland; February 3, 2011

Jackson loves to play outside-rain or shine, or should I say, snow or shine. That is what we have-SNOW, and lots of it. Over the past about two weeks, we have gotten about 2 feet of snow.  The drifts are 2-3 feet high in places from this last snow.  Dad has had to take me to work every day this week, so that he can have my car.  His has not left the garage since last Sunday.  I am very tired of snow.  Training for a half-marathon inside is torture.  Anyway, no matter the temperature, Jackson loves to play outside, so out we went.  -10 degrees, and we played and shoveled.  It takes almost 10 minutes to get Jax prepared to go outside, then we (or him and Dad-thanks, Honey, for letting me stay inside in the warm sometimes) spend about 20-30 minutes outside before the adult gets cold (never Jax), and we come in.  Cole stands at the window and watches longingly.  But, sadly, snow and cold is not for babies, so he has to stay inside.  Besides, I don’t have snow gear for the little guy.
Cole’s new moves this week are what we have dubbed the “snowplow”(which I mentioned previously, but he has taken to a whole new level) and turning in circles while sitting on the kitchen floor using only his feet-This is so funny. For the “Snowplow”, he crawls with his head down to the floor, and just plows through whatever gets in the way-toys, people, etc, until he hits a wall or a piece of furniture.

Well, now i am caught up, so new posts should be actual date.
