Easter weekend was a success.
There were no major meltdowns, no sugar highs, and only a little bit too much food and candy had by all.
On Saturday morning, we drove to Brookfield to have lunch and an Easter egg hunt at Aunt Pam and Uncle Jeff Harper's house. Jackson was most excited about the bouncy house, and it was the first thing he asked about when he got out of the car. He spent a lot of time in it, and Cole had fun in there, too. They also rode all of the 4-wheeler/alligator type vehicles that Uncle Jeff has around. The food was wonderful, and we got to see a lot of people we only see about once per year.
On Saturday evening, we went over to Bill and Cheri Patterson's. They were having a small family get-together. We got to see Mackenzie, but Jackson was more excited that Brielle and Alexandra were there.
On Sunday morning, we got up and went to church at Green Valley Baptist Church (where I have been going since I was a little girl), and after a short nap for Cole, we met Nana and Papa Patterson, and Kerry, Brielle, and Alexandra at Moila Country Club for lunch. After lunch, we went back to Nana and Papa's house to hunt for Easter eggs and play outside.
On Sunday evening, we went to Ryan and Jeana's house in Gower for dinner. We had hamburgers, french fries, deviled eggs, rolls... After dinner, Jeana and I took Cole for a walk. Then we played across the street at the pond for a little while. Jax, TJ, Ryan, and Grandpa Harper played basketball in the driveway, too.
Then back home and to bed.
Crazy busy weekend, but everything went well.
