Lots of Happenings!

Well, I have not been able to blog for a while.  Last week, we were pretty busy, and then out of town Friday into Saturday.  Then, I sat down to blog on Monday, and our internet was out-which ended with me very frustrtated with AT&T after spending an hour on the phone with them trying to get it fixed.  TJ go it back up and running yesterday, but I worked until 11pm.

Well, we went to KC last Friday, ate at 810 Zone on the Plaza with David and Jana and adorable little Emmy, then went back to their house and hung out for a while.  TJ and I were up at 0630 the next morning to leave for my race.  I ran my half-marathon in 1:53:56 (finishing 47th in my division-females 30-35).  Afterwards, we came home, and TJ went out and picked up the boys at my parents house.

Cole is walking a lot more now, even getting himself to a standing position in the middle of the room (not needing to pull up on anything).  His favorite place to walk? -in the street-Thanks, Dad.  TJ lets Cole walk in the street when he has him outside, so now Cole thinks that is the best place to walk.  Both of the boys really enjoy going on walks through the neighborhood.  If Cole does not think it has been a long enough walk, he will just dive toward the stroller to get back in and keep going.  I make Jax walk up the hills.  I figure between Cole (22pounds), and Jackson (44pounds) and stroller (15-20pounds), I am pushing 80 pounds around the neighborhood-this has got to be a great workout.

Jackson had a friend over to play on Tuesday night, Taylor Eiman, who lives just up the street.  We love this neighborhood.  There are so many children.  Always someone outside for Jackson to play with.  The Ababneh boys, Amir and Zed, are playing basketball in their driveway almost every evening, and are always nice to Jackson and lower their basket so he can play, too.
