More Ice Cream, Please!

TJ always has the best ideas.
Tonight, his award-winning idea was to go get Dairy Queen for the whole family.  Well, almost the whole family.  Poor little Cole always gets left out of all the fun (and yummy) stuff.  On the way home, TJ told Jackson it was okay if he didn't eat ALL of his ice cream, "You can save some of it for tomorrow", he said.  Jackson's response "WHY?"  And I agree, although if we keep going to Dairy Queen, I am going to have to run a few more miles each week.  YUM!  So worth it.

Jackson has pink eye. It started Wednesday morning in his left eye, so we started antibiotic eyedrops right away, but, of course, on Thursday morning he woke up with it in the right eye, also.  Somehow the rest of the family, even Cole, has managed to avoid getting it.  Putting eyedrops in Jackson's eyes is absolute torture for everyone involved.  I have never seen anyone who can squeeze his eyelids closed so tightly in my life.

Cole has started doing another funny thing-it never ends with this kid.
He puts the back of his wrist up against his open mouth, and then flaps his hand like he is waving, all the while making noise as loud as he can.  He sounds like a little Indian and looks like he is trying to wave goodbye with his mouth.
He also has started coming over to me (and TJ) after he falls down, to give us a hug, and pats us on the back.  Kinda Like, it's OK, I am fine, Mom.
