Dreading Winter

Well, Jackson had another big day on the soccer field.  3 goals (4 if you ask him-which is entirely possible, since I was trying to keep Cole in my sights much of the time.)  Cole is not one to sit quietly and watch-SHOCKER, I know!  It was a beautiful day today, Sunny and 70, and we spent every moment of it outside from about 8am (gametime) until about 5:30pm (dinnertime).  We probably will not get a lot more days like this again until spring.  I am dreading Winter.  Usually, I would be dreading it purely out of my own selfishness and dislike for the cold weather, but this year I am dreading it for the boys, too.  All that indoor time is bound to drive one of us crazy-most likely ME!  Okay, that is still selfish, but they just love the outdoors so much.

Cole is now saying "No".  This is about the only word I was not looking forward to him learning.  But other things he has started saying- Thank You, and repeating many other words when someone says them now.  I think I am finally done worrying about his speech.  Well, now I will worry about how clear it is instead.

Jackson is getting very good about "Please" and "Thank You".  About time, I think.  He has finally learned he gets things he wants much more quickly and readily if he asks for them nicely.  Jackson and Cole are playing really well together right now, but Cole does not like Jax to help him with anything.  Getting up, getting out of the truck, playing, etc.  This is where his new "No" is coming into play alot.
