What a wonderful weekend...
Friday, after Jackson got on the bus, Cole and I hung out in the morning-doing yardwork. We planted grass seed and added mulch to the landscaping. Then Jeana and I left for Columbia. We ate dinner at Shakespeare's with Collin. Then we headed to Greek Town to see the house decks. After that, we met Tom and Annie Rhoad at Harpo's. A late night for us, we were in by 11:15. The next morning, we headed downtown to catch part of the Homecoming parade, then went to the book store, then off to tailgate. Tigers beat Iowa State 52-17. Yeah! I got to spend the first quarter of the game with Matt and Amanda and Benson, visiting.
Jackson had a soccer game Saturday morning. He scored twice, once in each goal. HaHa.
Cole has a few more new words. Please, Knock-Knock, pizza.
Today, I took the boys to the pumpkin patch. Ireland went with us. They had a great time. They rode the train, roasted marshmallows to make S'More's, played in the hay maze, and on the swingsets. Then we picked out pumpkins (and apples for snacks on the way home), and left.
This evening, we met Nana and Papa, and Coby, Kerry, Brielle, and Alexandra for pizza at Pizza Shoppe.
Ok, so nothing too exciting, but this is our life. The Good Life!
