Here's to lost sleep. Daytime sleep, that is.
Cole has officially and definitively given up his morning nap, which I would be completely OK with if his afternoon nap had extended a little, but NO, still less than 1 and 1/2 hours.
Funny Jacksonism's-
Today, at snack Cole dropped his fork, and when I picked it up I gave it back to him without washing it off, commenting that he could eat a little dirt.
Jackson, incredulous, says "Cole can eat dirt???", Pause "He's not a vacuum" Pause "Well, he is-sort of" Pause
"A food Vacuum" Too funny! My mom and I were laughing out loud.
Last week, Mackenzie was here babysitting, and she and Jackson were looking in the pantry for a snack. She commented "Jackson, I should come stay here, you have lots of good snacks!" to which Jackson replies with a flourish, "You're welcome anytime."
We went school supply shopping this morning. The countdown is on. 11 days until kindergarten. My baby is growing up so fast. I have very mixed emotions about Jackson starting school. I am excited for him, but I am going to miss him. I am excited for Cole and myself, because we will get more one-on-one time, but sad for Cole and myself because we will get less Jackson time. Cole really enjoys playing with and around Jax, even if they are doing different things. Mom is just not cool enough. I am going to have to work to fill our days once school starts.
And said to him, Hear you what these say? And Jesus said to them, Yes; have you never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings you have perfected praise? Matthew 21:16
